9-11 Generation Jamie sat on a bluff looking over the river. Fireworks exploded everywhere. Independence Day. She had managed to get away from the insane madness that was her family for a few minutes. As Jamie sat, almost meditatively, she thought of the years of history that led up to this point: The American Revolution, The Civil war, World War One, December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor, and World War Two, Vietnam, and 9/11/01, the terrorist attack. She stopped at that. 9/11 history, hardly. &9-11 Generation

ClassRoom MadnessIn a cold class of twenty-five I sit silently and wonder why How did this happen? What went wrong?
